The Boss competes against challengers under severe handicap conditions.

Dungeon Run — Boss Fight Handicap

Challengers who reach the Boss carry their accumulated dungeon bonus handicap into the final fight, stacked on top of their base (belt/weight/age) handicap.

Boss fight handicap cap: 20 pts total

No matter how large the combined base + bonus would otherwise be, the total is capped at 20 pts for the boss fight. This ensures the Boss always has a realistic path to winning on points, while the challenger still carries a meaningful reward for clearing all five stages.

Stage bonus breakdown:

White stage win: +0 bonus handicap

Blue stage win: +1 bonus handicap

Purple stage win: +1 bonus handicap

Brown stage win: +2 bonus handicap

Black stage win: +2 bonus handicap

Maximum dungeon bonus: +6 pts

Example: A White belt challenger who clears all five stages vs a Black Belt Boss:

Base handicap: 16 pts (4-rank belt gap, ×2 multiplier)

Dungeon bonus: +6 pts (full clear)

Combined: 22 pts → capped at 20 pts on the match card

The challenger wins by submission at any time regardless of score.
